Our complimentary Dhoni transfer from Malé (30-35 minutes) is available to bring you straight into the heart of CROSSROADS Maldives throughout the day.

If you are arriving from the airport, or prefer to take a speed boat transfer instead of Dhoni, please visit counters A17 and A18 where our airport team will assist in coordinating your transfer based on the schedule for the day. The transfers from the airport also remain complimentary subject to the minimum spend limit of USD 20 per person (12 years and above).

You will book your flight independently.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, all travelers must have emergency medical insurance that covers emergency evacuation and repatriation up to at least $200,000. Please bring a copy of your travel insurance with you. We also strongly recommend purchasing an all-inclusive plan that covers cancellation/interruption insurance.
To fully enjoy travel insurance's benefits, you must get it within 10- 21 days (depending on the company) of the first payment made for your trip. If you do not, you may lose some extra benefits.
I recommend using the total trip cost of $3,333.

It has higher benefit limits and includes Air Only AD&D coverage up to $25,000. It also provides coverage for denied boarding due to medical screening and trip cancellation or interruption features like a mechanical breakdown of the aircraft, level 4 travel warning, and government-mandated shutdown of the airport or air control traffic system. While we provide the following information in good faith, it is vital that you check the information yourself and understand that you are fully responsible for your own visa requirements.

You do not need to apply for a visa before you travel to the Maldives on holiday. On arrival, all tourists of all nationalities can receive a 30-day visa free of charge.
Will there be wifi available?
For an additional fee of $35. Note: In some areas, Wi-Fi may be accessible, while in others, the connection might not be as reliable. The internet connection will be good enough to read emails but not fast enough for large downloads. It is recommended that you purchase a local data SIM. No, gratuities are not included. We will talk about recommendations later.
How many people are expected on this retreat?
This will be a small group of only 18 people.
What if I don't know anyone going on the Retreat?
A phenomenal group of like-minded people will surround you. A close-knit community will quickly develop and last beyond our time together! Below is a video from our last Yacht adventure.

Spending Money
Every traveler is different, and therefore, spending money requirements will vary. Please consider your own spending habits when it comes to allowing for drinks, shopping, and tipping.

USD is widely accepted in the Maldives; however, it's better to have local currency for local islands, small shops, and restaurants. An ATM is available at the airport.

You should be aware that to purchase products or services on a credit card, a fee of 5%-10% usually applies. Do not rely on credit or debit cards as your only source of money; a combination of US dollar cash and cards is best.

You should also be aware that 16% T-GST and 10% Service Charge apply to most transactions in the Maldives.

Can I pay the extras by credit card or USD on the boat?
Payments for extras taken on the boat can be settled in cash (USD or EUROs) or by credit card. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and Amex). Please note that a 5% processing fee will apply to all credit card payments.
EMERGENCY FUND
Please also ensure you have access to at least an additional USD $200 cash (or equivalent) as an 'emergency' fund to be used when circumstances outside our control (e.g., a natural disaster or an increase in gas prices). This is a rare occurrence, but it can happen!
